As they have listened to and talked with hundreds of youth over the last 15 years in practice, they’ve seen the importance of providing opportunities to explore and learn about platonic and romantic relationships and learn about sexual health and safety. Most importantly, Meg and Katy wanted to create a safe, non-judgmental, queer-allied, neurodivergent-affirming space to JUST BE. At My Relationships Project, Megan and Katy have built that space. Through “deep and meaningful hangs,” individual support, community events, and trainings for agencies, MRP participants explore the social world in a way that honors their preferences and needs in their relationships, at home, school, work, and in the community.
